Discussion Sunday

Today, we revisit the fourth question from our discussions. As always, everyone is invited to offer their insight or opinion.

How has spanking references in vanilla movies, past and present, affected you? How many old movies, where spanking the female lead was commonplace, have you seen? When a new movie throws in a spanking reference, does that encourage you to go see it?

Lady Jane with Helen Bonham Carter was the one that sent me over the edge. I think it's late 80's. She refuses to marry so her father orders her mother to whip her. At the time I didn't know that I was a spanko, I didn't expect the scene, and was stunned at my own reaction. I fantasized about it for years.

Before I knew there was a spanking scene or other spankos... finding a spanking scene in a movie or on TV was pretty big deal. I remember the spanking scene in the movie 'Tank' as a favorite. Something I watched in slow-mo on VHS tape... lol.
As I got older and not only started spanking girls myself... but finding a wide spanking universe on the internet (too complete with countless spanking pictures and videos)... the random 'vanilla world' spanking find lost it's zing. Though I certainly still do enjoy a *good* mainstream spanking scene... like on 'Weeds' (as opposed to the one on 'Tank' which was not only mean, but it was fake too).

Thanks to everyone that joined in. I've always been titillated by spanking references in vanilla films, and have a certain sense of pride from finding them. To me, it's like collecting something naughty that no one else sees as naughty.
